Heirloom pendant Tallebudgeera
I received a message from Tom to say he needed help finding a very precious heirloom pendant his partner had lost at Tallebudgera dog park on the Gold Coast. I met them on site and they explained that they had walked a long way to the activity area where they had played with their dog for a while, then walked back to their car and his partner had jumped up and down on the kerb to get grass off her shoes. She then noticed her chain had fallen out of the bottom of her jacket. In a panic she searched for the 3 pendants that had been on it and could not find them anywhere. In tears she went back to the agility area searching everywhere and sent Tom out to buy a metal detector. When he got back, they realised it was too hard for them so they called the professionals at Lost Jewellery Recovery. The precious gold and diamond pendant was the only thing she had inherited from her late grandmother. I thoroughly searched the area where they had parked and then we went to the area where they played with their dog. At one stage, the dog had jumped up on her and I suggested we start the search there and work our way methodically out from this area. I put my cones and pegs out ready to search and asked if they could move my marker pegs as I went. That way, we could cover as much ground as possible with it being such a large search area. I swung my coil 3 times and got a little signal, I could not believe it when I pulled up her grandmother’s pendant, within 5 minutes, I had all 3 in her hand and the tears and hugs were flowing.
