We were strolling on the beach when my husband dropped his ring. We knew the general area where the ring fell off, and were confident of finding it. However, two hours later, we were not having any luck. A google search for "find lost ring in sand" led me to Jeff. The moment I contacted him , Jeff leapt into action - researching the location and the tide tables. All we did was send him a photo showing the location where we thought the ring fell down. Jeff was on the spot within an hour, and he located the ring in the next hour. Despite the cold weather and an early shift the next day, Jeff showed up in time to help us out. Thanks Jeff !! Regards, Deepika
Thanks Jeff !!
Tolles Team. Gibt alles um den Verlust rückgängig zu machen. Danke, Danke!

Speechless I am!! didn't know underwater metal detecting services even existed. my friend highly recommended you to me and I was not disappointed. your confidence and positive attitude is inspiring, to see you in the water with these waves crashing down on you. I felt really bad and at first thought this is not going to happen then you call out to me with the biggest smile on your face saying you found my ring. Thank you michael for all you do, i'm going to recommend you to everyone I know. Thank you Michael.

This summer while we were boating in Lake Stevens Cora accidentally dropped my wedding ring into the water. It was about 12 ft of water and we dove about 3 weeks straight looking for it. We then hired two different guys with scuba gear to search for it, one of the guys was Jeff and they found nothing. At that point we lost hope and went and bought a new ring. Jeff looks for lost rings for a hobby and stayed in contact and kept saying he was going to go back and find it but i definitely had never thought he really would. I just got home from work and Jeff showed up with my ring! Im stoked to have my ring back but I really just cant believe he didn’t give up and actually found it, makes you feel good to know there good ppl out there that do things just out of kindness with no expectations of something in return! Definitely made my day. Travis Takamori Lake Stevens, WA
Im stoked to have my ring back...
I was tagged on a social media thread about a lost wedding band. Sven and his partner had been working in the garden cleaning up the Fall leaves and getting ready for Spring planting when one of their matching wedding bands went missing. A beautiful Titanium/Platinum band that was exchanged by the newlyweds just months ago. Turned out to be a short hunt, but gratifying just the same. "We found the ring. Thank you to Terry Smith for coming today to help us find the ring. Took him 2 min and we found it in a bag of leaves!!!! We are so delighted to having found it."
Another Callout, Another Happy Return!
Working with Jeff was a pleasure. He’s easy to be around, genuinely interested in helping people, and a master of his craft. His process started with a series of questions about how/where it was lost - assumptions were challenged, and facts were identified. He then developed a plan for the search and clearly communicated this with me. When he showed up I already knew what he was going to do, the gear he was going to use, and the reasoning behind it all. Using a variety of equipment, Jeff methodically searched a 50’ radius from the assumed location of the ring in 36’ of water, with a bottom time of over 3.5 hours, and only stopping when all three of his air tanks were empty. While we didn’t find the ring, knowing we did everything we could to recover it was of huge value to me. I’d highly recommend Jeff to anyone looking to find a ring in the future. Tom Grapeview, WA
I’d highly recommend Jeff...
Wirklich unbeschreiblich klasse!

I am an I.B.E.W. Journey Lineman, working a 220kv Transmission line in the hills above Fillmore, Ca. On 4-2-2020 we were in the process of Dead-Ending the new conductors we had recently strung in by pressing the Dead-End bodies with a 60T hydraulic press when the top die slid out of the press and fell 100’ to the ground. Despite watching it fall all the way, and knowing where it hit, the ground help was unable to locate the die. We resumed work with another set and 10 minutes later, another die slides out of the press. I didn’t see it fall, but it bounced 3 times off the tower before hitting the ground and no one saw where it went. It’s not so much the cost of replacing the dies, but the fact that they are 6-8 weeks out (or longer because we are in the middle of the COVID-19 Pandemic) for replacement, and we now only have 2 sets of dies for the entire job. After pondering buying a Metal Detector myself, I decided to find a professional. After about 30 minutes of internet searching, I came across The Ring Finders and David Mac Donald. It was 9:40 pm on a Sat. night and I pondered texting him so late, but I only had about a 4hr. window on Sun. mornig to search before a weeks worth of rain set in and makes access to the structure impossible for next 7-10 days, so i texted him. He immediately texted me back, and was more than happy to help out, and full of questions. What are we looking for?, How big of a search area?, What are they made of?, Can I supply another one to ping his detector with?, and How early do you want to meet? We met at 7am, and by 7:45 we were at the search area. It only took about 3-4 minutes to find the 1st die. Even though my guys had dug and pulled up weeds and bushes, it was still burried another 3-4” just from the shear impact from that height. The seach area for the other die, I figured could be about a 50-100’ dia. area around the tower as I had no idea what direction it went when it bounced off the tower. So we said a little prayer, and with his good nature and positive attitude, It took David about another hour of searching in a grid pattern,( working his way out on a pretty steep, overgrown hillside, most of the time holding onto the brush with one hand to maintain balance), when he hit pay dirt. He found it about 6’ from the opposite tower leg and still about 3” deep. I can’t say Thank You enough, But I will spread the word nation wide in our industry of how useful your services are. I can't thank you enough Michael, This chain belonged to my grandmother. She wore it when she passed away and it means so much to me and my family you were able to find it in the rough surf at Tamarama Beach. Your a legend
