My husband lost his gold wedding ring while snorkeling in Kapalua Bay in an area pretty far off the shore with a lot of rocks and coral. My husband searched for half an hour and wasn’t able to find it. The nice guys at the Montage beach rental hut recommended we call Dave. My husband was skeptical it would be found, but I was hopeful after reading so many of Dave’s awesome reviews! Dave came out the next morning and found it within 45 minutes of meeting us! Pretty miraculous considering it was lost so far out in the bay where everything looks the same. So relieved and thankful- honeymoon saved!

TESTIMONIAL: During Memorial Day Weekend, Me, my Brother and his kids, and my mom all went to the beach for some Sunday fun..After taking a quick dip in the ocean before leaving the beach, I looked down and saw that the worse thing that could ever happened had happened! Jeff was very professional, consultative and well organized - and he found our sixteen year old daughter's gold pendant in Lake Washington. Thank you Jeff! The longer story. My sixteen year old daughter lost her pendant off a dock in Lake Washington - the necklace snapped and the pendant slipped through the slats on the dock. The pendant was a birthday gift and very meaningful to her so we knew we had to find it! We were lucky in that she marked the location where it had fallen into the water - so we knew we had a chance. When we first visited the spot I jumped in to look for the pendant - but the water was very cold and visibility under the dock was poor. We decided at that point that we needed a professional. We got lucky again when we found Jeff. He quickly reviewed the situation and thought we had a chance. The next day he brought his gear to the dock and located the pendant. Jeff for the win! This truly was an unbelievable recovery. We live in AZ and the rings had been lost on the course for almost 3 weeks, there was a lot of doubt, but I had to try. I kept thinking, a year from now, if I don’t at least give it my best shot, I would still wonder, what if? I am still in shock that we found them. When I look at them, it is with joy like never before. Thank you Jeff Morgan for agreeing to help us…..a 6 hour round trip in the car, and nearly 6 hours of searching. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Update*** Rings were found this morning! I can’t believe it!!! I’m in total shock and in awe of the kindness we received via this forum. My husband, I & our families searched for my rings for 5 days before we reached out to the Irish metal detecting forum. We had hired a metal detector from a local hardware supplier but it was useless for finding rings as we had scanned the area where the rings were found several times. Jugins kindly offered his help & when I asked how early would suit him to meet this morning, he said 6am! So it meant my husband could meet him early and they could search together before my husband had to go to work. To our amazement the rings were pretty close to where we were sitting on beach. (I had taken them off to put sun cream on my baby & had forgotten to put them back on!!!.) Jugins went above and beyond a good deed and expressed a level of kindness that is rarely seen nowadays. He agreed to meet up promptly as I figured he knew how important/sentimental the rings were to me. Today was our last ditch attempt to find the rings before calling the insurance company but thankfully we didn’t need to! Jugins found both rings in less than 30 minutes and refused to take any money for his time and didn’t want any reward for finding the rings. He just about agreed to take some petrol money. My husband said we couldn’t have found a nicer man to help us. He is a true gentleman, what we would call “salt of the earth”. It’s rare in this day and age to find such a kind person. We would like to thank Jugins from the bottom of our hearts - it has saved us a lot of time, money & heart ache. The rings could be replaced but we know insurance companies won’t cover the full replacement value of rings and they'd also hike the premiums for many years afterward but more importantly, it’s the sentimental value that’s attached to them. These are the rings my husband put on my finger on our special day. Jugins, you are our hero today! Thank you so so so much! PS - I have learnt my lesson (to never take my rings off unnecessarily)

Watching you metal detect I knew you would find my ring even with all the kids running around you. Hey mate, here is my review for you: I lost my ring in the ocean ant Wattamolla Beach and thought it was gone forever. However some people close by told me about Michael Oliver’s metal detecting service, so I thought I’d give him a call right away. He answered my first call, made arrangements to come immediately to meet us, and was clear on his pricing. Stormy weather made the first dive unsuccessful, but Michael remained positive and returned the next day. I’m glad he did, because he found my ring. Michael was genuinely pleased to have helped me get my ring back, and I never felt he was trying to play on sentiment to make money.
