Found Shona's Lost Diamond Ring Underwater at Balmoral Beach
1 year ago
Today I received a lost jewellery recovery metal detecting service call out from Shona who unfortunately lost her beautiful 18k yellow gold wedding ring covered in beautiful diamonds. Shona explained she was standing at the end of the walk way over the water when a person walking by had bumped into her accidentally. This is when the ring had slipped off her finger and rolled across the wooden plat form straight off the edge into the water below. Her husband jumped in after the ring he free dived 4 metres down to the ocean floor searching for the lost wedding ring, after 30 minutes of searching the locals advised them to call Michael Oliver from LOST JEWELLERY RECOVERY. After speaking with Shona, the metal detecting search was booked in for the following morning. I met Shona at Balmoral Beach Sydney at 10am, Today's search is in 4 metres of water I used the XP Deus ll Metal Detector along with my Quest X-pointer Max Metal Detector. I used the Blu3 Nomad dive system. Shona asked me what are the chances of finding my ring? I told Shona i'm familiar with this location it's unfortunately packed with trash besides it slowing the search down, I SAID WITH CONFIDENCE I WILL FIND YOUR LOST RING. I geared up and hit the water. My first dive over 1 hour and no ring, I came back to Shona explaining this is NOT the correct search location, DON'T worry Shona this happens sometimes. I then explained to Shona NOT to worry I will find your ring, now lets retrace your steps. Shona then told me she thinks the ring could be near the other pier just a few metres away, I replied AWESOME I'll reset my grid line and dive back into the underwater metal detecting search, After just 5 minutes I get a surface reading on my XP Deus ll underwater metal detector I pull out my quest X-Pointer max metal detector to locate the exact location of the target and BINGO I have found Shona's lost GOLD WEDDING RING. As I emerge from the water Shona spots her lost ring on my pinky finger and screams for joy THANK YOU Michael you legend, I can't believe you found my wedding ring. I apologised the search took over an hour to find the ring. This was simply because the amount of trash I have to dig. Shona and her husband messaged me later that day THANKING me again for all the effort and patients I have for them. I explained to Shona this is my passion, I LOVE METAL DETECTING and reuniting lost jewellery with owners is what I do best. Someone linked me into a Grapevine post asking for a small miracle. Marks daughter lost her signet ring at Bucklands Beach on a hot afternoon while cooling down in the refreshing water, he said ’...so if anyone happens to find a small silver ring with a clear stone...my daughter would be over the moon. She is currently absolutely gutted 😪..’ I didn’t stop to hesitate after all the tide would be almost out by the time I arrived. I had to get to another recovery job in Mangere bridge so had only slotted this one in. Bucklands Beach is a sloping gravel beach and a part of a channel for local ferries, because the ring had been lost the day before the waves from those boats covered the ring from several visual searches by the family. The only foot traffic at that time were fishermen and walkers, so due to the accuracy of directions I had a relatively small search area. For the detecting enthusiasts I was using my XP Deus 2 in beach 3 with bottle cap reject on 3. I started at the waters edge as this is commonly where gold and silver rings are found, on my first run I found a sinker and some aluminium pieces, all high tones which is what a silver ring sounds like. On my next run just in the water I got the number 86 which usually means a $1 or $2 coin which is not unexpected on a swimming beach, but it did pull up a little heart sterling signet ring. Due to the condition it had been dropped recently, so I slipped it in my pocket and headed to the next job. I had for a few days of trouble getting in touch with the owner, but today I was able to return it to a very happy Mark and an even happier daughter.Gold Fingerprint Charm of Deceased Mother, Lost and Recovered in Deep Grass By RingFinder Adam Greenburg Ponte Vedra Beach, Fl.

They just got a new puppy and his wife was playing with the puppy on the lawn when she jumped up and grabbed the necklace and broke it. She was able to find the necklace but not able to find the small gold charm which was about the size of a dime. They even borrowed a friends metal detector and searched for hours without luck. I arrived to the house and they showed me the lawn where the charm was lost. The grass was vey thick and dense. It took me about 15-20 min to recover and return this very special charm. Shortly after her death, I had a charm made with her fingerprint to wear so that I would always have a piece of her with me! This past week we adopted the sweetest golden doodle puppy you’ve ever seen❤️ Her name is Juniper! I was in our front yard playing with Juniper, when she jumped up and grabbed my necklace. The chain caught on my shirt but the charm with my moms fingerprint went flying! Our grass is so dense and I could not find it anywhere! My husband and I searched for 3 hours or more! I even started to fear that maybe Juniper had swallowed it! My friend even let me borrow her metal detector that she bought for her children to take to the beach. No luck! 😢 my husband researched “ring finders” and found Adam! Adam assured us that if that charm was in our yard he would find it! He seemed very confident! When Adam got to our house we showed him the area where I was playing with Juniper. He began his search with his equipment and within 20 minutes had found my special charm!!!❤️ Adam was genuinely so nice and I believe he wanted to find it as much as I did!!! The empathy and kindness he showed was extraordinary! God NEVER fails in sending the right people at the right time!Samsung galaxy s22

Lost Jewellery Recovery received a lost ring report from both the police and local media yesterday, they were looking for a lost wedding ring that belonged to a young lady drowned on Shelly Beach the day before. This is a very sad story most of which we CANNOT PROVIDE TO THE PUBLIC. The lady was ONLY 32 years old, they were on their honey moon ONLY married for 3 days when they decided to take a swim at Shelly Beach Sydney. The lady removed her wedding ring before entering the water, we believed she either placed the ring on her towel or in her bag. From here all we know is that she Drowned at Shelly Beach, she was removed from the water and CPR was performed on her, unfortunately she died shortly after!! The day after the drowning our Lost Jewellery Recovery metal detecting service team was on location, it was a 3 man team, Vic, Pete and Michael Oliver. We set up a large grid area Pete and Vic were on location an hour before I arrived as I had just finished up on another Lost Jewellery Recovery. Vic and Pete had already metal detected a large part of the search area, another hour into the search Vic screamed out to me as he started finding medical equipment a large heavy metal rod that took 2 batteries was found, I informed Vic he had found the area where the ambulance had performed CPR on the young lady where her personal affects were on the beach. Pete and I metal detected the surrounding area as Vic metal detected and closed in on the lost wedding ring. Just 5 minutes after finding the Medical equipment Vic gets a solid T.ID reading on his display screen showing a shallow NON-FERROUS target on his metal detector. Vic placed his scoop into the sand and as he pulled it out he hears metal rattling on the bottom of his scoop and BINGO, Vic has found the lost wedding ring. Vic screamed out to Pete and I, we ran over to Vic and once we seen the ring we cross referenced it with the photo the police provided to Lost Jewellery Recovery, confirming what we already knew was the ladies lost wedding ring. Lost Jewellery Recovery then called the Manly Police Station to inform them we had found the lost wedding ring and that we are on the way to the station to hand it in. The police offices congratulated us on our efforts in finding the ring and informed us that the embassy and owner might want to get in touch with us to thank us in person, we provided all our contact details with the police and said this is what we do FULL-TIME. We love metal detecting and finding and reuniting lost jewellery with owners is what we live for. The police now have Lost Jewellery Recovery in there system and will continue to reach out to us when people need our help. We metal detect both on land and underwater, we can find mobile phones, watches, hand bags, ear rings, necklaces and most common wedding rings. If it's metallic we can find it. A big thanks to everyone involved and all your efforts, this will bring some comfort to her husband. PLEASE always swim between the red and yellow flags, if your NOT sure and surf conditions are heavy. Do not enter the water.Returned Dan's Lost Wedding Ring Found on Bondi Beach
1 year ago
Last night Lost Jewellery Recovery received a call from Dan who unfortunately lost his wedding ring on Bondi Beach Sydney. Dan jumped on google search and found Lost Jewellery Recovery's worldwide metal detecting services, Dan explained he lost his wedding ring while taking the ring off his finger and tied it to the inside of his shorts pocket while playing in the sand with his child. The ring has come undone and fallen from his pocket, I got down to Bondi Beach within the hour, Dan explained the search area and asked me if its possible I can find his lost wedding ring? I replied YES although a ring is a small target I've found and returned hundreds and hundreds of lost rings to owners many of them were lost in the water, land searches are far more faster and mostly more easy to perform. Dan felt a lot better and I reassured Dan, all I need from you is the correct search area. Using my XP Deus ll metal detector with Bone Conduction head phones along with my Quest X-Pointer pro pin pointer this ring is as good as found. 20 minutes into the search we find a few bottle caps and to our surprise quite a few coins, which are harder to find these days. The first grid A 10 metres by 10 metres NO RING, grid B another 10 metres by 10 metres still NO RING. Grid C on the second line I get a solid and surface target T.ID reading on my XP Deus ll metal detector, I pull out the Quest X-Pointer Pro pin pointer and run it just above the sand and the pin pointer rings up a reading at just half an inch deep. I wipe the sand away using my hand and BINGO the shiny gold rim of Dan's lost gold wedding ring is exposed. Dan drops to his knees and said NO WAY you found my wedding ring!! THANK YOU Michael. You are most welcome Dan, this is what we do best here at lostjewelleryrecovery.com and remember we are a worldwide metal detecting service and also a LOST AND FOUND service. I was contacted by Jackson whose fiancé Joleigh lost her engagement ring while swimming in the shallows at Muriwai beach, West Auckland. The ring is an 18crt white gold diamond ring with greenstone. It is a special ring as it was crafted especially for her. Muriwai beach is an iron sand beach that make most metal detectors almost useless, but after advice from another member of our group I was able to get past some of the problems and start a search in the shallows by the rocks. After 10 minutes and only a bottle cap, Jackson and Joleigh arrived and redirected me to a spot further up the beach. I marked out the area to search and as I walked I heard almost nothing. Then I heard a familiar sound so I beckoned them to come over and take look. I dumped a scoop of sand out I bent down and worked my pinpointer through the sand hearing it beep, Jackson pointed and said I think I see it. It was so good to see it for the first time, finding a ring like this on an iron sand beach is quite an accomplishment for me. In two months they can be married and be happy knowing they have their ring. Ian SiPod

I was contacted by a person who lost his wedding ring in the desert while sitting with his friends and asked for my help to save his life because his wife was very angry because he lost his ring, so he turned to me to help him find his ring. He gave me the site and I immediately went to search for the ring, which is a PLATINUM type, weighing 11 grams. I used the MINELAB MANTICORE device in the search. I searched for 35 minutes, knowing that the site had a lot of dirt, but I did not stop searching until the end. I found the ring after digging more than 40. He dug it.. In the end, I succeeded in finding that ring and called its owner. He was very happy and hugged me and said that saying thank you is not enough. The best thing in life is to help each other.Lost Gold Ring Mudgeeraba

So great to put a big smile on his faceLost Engagement Ring Found Freshwater Beach Sydney

Michael Oliver from Lost Jewellery Recovery Metal Detecting Service, received a report of a lost gold diamond engagement ring lost in the shallow waters of the popular surf beach of Freshwater Beach Sydney. After Receiving the call and speaking with the owner of the lost ring, the owner explained she had lost her wedding ring while swimming in the shallows and is worried the strong tide is going to pull her wedding ring out to the ocean NEVER to be seen again. I explained anything is possible however I have recovered HUNDREDS OF LOST WEDDING RINGS FROM THE OCEAN OVER MANY YEARS. In my honest opinion your ring is still right there waiting for me to find her and bring her back to you. Now on Freshwater beach with the owner explaining where the wedding ring is believed to be lost, I set up my XP Deus ll metal Detector water proof to 20 metres dive depth and using my Bone Conduction head phones provides me with excellent target recovery of even the smallest of metallic treasures lost. 30 minutes into the search I have found 2 lost rings both of them NOT the owners, as the tide rises surf conditions are becoming more rough and difficult to search. The waves crashing on me every 5 to 10 seconds make it even more difficult to stay in line with my grid line pole. Nearly 2 hours into the search my body is aching BUT my Confidence in finding this ring is still high as I am still in the search, it's just a matter of time before I close in and metal detect this cheeky little bugger!! Just on 2 hours of searching my XP Deus ll metal detector hits a POSITIVE T.ID reading I new I either found the owners lost wedding ring or someone else's again. Waiting between the sets of waves to dig the ring, if i'm NOT careful in digging the ring it can be lost to a rogue wave. The ring is surface and just between the sets of waves I dig it successfully and BINGO we have found her LOST ENGAGEMENT RING. The owner and her husband jump with excitement and joy they both give me a great big hug and said thank you Michael at first we didn't think you'd find my ring BUT after watching metal detect with such precision and focus you gave gave us hope and now I have my ring back, thank you so much. Your most welcome and please let all your friends and family know that items I find do NOT get sold we put them in lock up just waiting for owners to claim.
