ONE SMARTPHONE RECOVERY
On June 1, I discovered a smartphone in the sand of the beach. It was still working. I contacted the person who last called him. I was able to return it even though he had already bought another one. She was able to recover all her memories that were in it. She didn’t want to be photographed but was very happy. I also did a good cleaning of the beach.Lost Heirloom ring found and returned

It's stories like these that encourage me to keep offering my jewellery rescue service. Gabe's Grandfather had recently passed. He was bequeathed his signet ring, which he wore with pride in loving memory. Whilst holidaying at Broulee he decided to take a quick dip in Candalagan Creek. Being mindful of the possibility of the ring falling off in the water he removed it and gave it to a relative to look after. Unfortunately whilst also looking after his young son the ring was dropped and lost. Gabe posted regarding the loss on Ring Rescue and Beach detecting South Coast NSW. I contacted him, and he sent me a location pin on a Google map. So with my headlamp fully charged I headed down to the spot and after about an hour search I was able to recover the precious heirloom. It makes me wonder whether in years to come the same ring will be worn by Gabe's young son. Please contact me on 0407533492 if you or someone you know loses a precious item of jewellery.Platinum and Diamond ring Currumbin Beach

I had 3 recoveries on at once and it was dark by the time I got to the last one at Currumbin Beach. Not to be deterred, I put on my headlamp and we headed to the spot where they had lost their very expensive engagement ring. They had marked out quite a large area where they had thought it may have been. I turned my detector on and took a few swings to make sure it was working correctly and heard a good signal. As I reached down and pulled out their ring, the husband started jumping up and down and they were both screaming. It would be nice if they were all this easy, but they were so happy as they had to head back to Brisbane.Tallebudgera Creek recovery

Had a call out to help find a lady's engagement ring she lost by some trees at Tallebugera Creek. I started gridding the area she was in and found that there was far too much rubbish and it would take forever to find it. So I switched to my special little sniper coil and started back again. After half an hour of digging up lots of rubbish, I could hear a target that sounded good amongst the rubbish noises. Sure enough, up popped her 18ct diamond engagement ring. She was ecstatic as she was flying back to NZ the next day. So great to have her holiday end on a happy note.Southport Spit ring recovery

I received a distressed call from a lady who had lost her engagement ring at the spit. We met in the car park and I did my usual detective work by questioning her exact movements before she lost it. There was a large area on the beach that she had been at and then she told me she stopped at the outdoor shower to wash off some sand and then back to her car when she discovered her ring was missing. So I asked if she minded if we could check the shower area on the way to the beach. She showed me where she had placed her bags while washing her feet and I carefully gridded this area. 10 minutes later in the grass, a beautiful engagement ring emerged. She cried and hugged me over and over, as she thought it was gone forever and was to get married soon. Such a thrill to help someone from despair to exhilaration.First rescue of the season.

On June 21, 2024, I received a call from a man who had just lost his engagement ring. This ring was also to be used as a wedding ring (our friend is Swiss). After a long trip, I went there and found her. The man who was celebrating his bachelor party was no longer available and the restitution took place on June 22, 2024. His joy was immense and my pleasure was complete even if I am now black listed for not wanting to give a share of the reward to the plagiarist who just gave my phone number. Precisions, this is a private luxury beach in St Tropez and I am retired and is earning tips and is earning more than my retirement pension.ala moana

it all started when I got a call from my friend that his father lost his wedding ring in about neck deep water on a beach on the west side of Oahu. he lost it about four days ago and was going to be a hard ring to find . He gave location headed down to the beach to try to find the ring. I tried Friday early evening but the tide was too high to reach the location. So I decided to come back the next morning on a lower tide. 30 mins later about neck deep water I hear a faint sound. Took a few scoops and bingo. There was the ring.Gold chain with a miraculous medal

I contacted Vlad & Danylo after I lost my wedding ring in the water on Carrolls Cove beach in Derrynane - just two weeks after I was married! They were incredibly helpful and met with us the same day to make a plan to meet at low tide the following day and search for the ring. To my enormous relief, they found it! They are absolute gentlemen and my wife & I and our families will forever be indebted to them. Thank you Vlad & Danylo!Sam & Lauren LOSE their Wedding Rings on Coogee Beach

Michael Oliver from LOST JEWELLERY RECOVERY Metal Detecting Services 0434 985 992 has received 5 call outs this week from Manly Beach, Shelly Beach, Maroubra Beach, Bondi Beach and Coogee Beach. Sam was playing in the sand with his children on Coogee Beach, when he looked down and realised his wedding ring was not on his finger he turned to his wife Lauren saying Honey I lost my wedding ring. Here's a funny twist to this situation. Sam's wife Lauren acturally lost her wedding ring just last year at south Coogee Beach up in the park in spiky bushes. TRUE STORY. Lauren jumped on the phone and gave me a call and within the hour I was at Coogee Beach, Straight away I recognised Lauren and she said NO I didn't lose my wedding ring again however my husband just lost his wedding ring. We all had a laugh over the situation and luckily after they explained the search area, I told Sam and Lauren DON'T worry I'll find it noworries. 5 minutes into the search we hit one small complication that the ring was lost close to a rock roll that has metal rio bar through it. I over come this by getting on my hands and knees moving the sand away from the wall so my XP Deus ll metal detector will have no other Ferrous metals interfering with the non-ferrous metal target I'm after. 15 minutes into the search I find a few bottle caps coins and BINGO just as I move the sand away as I pin point a target we see this Beautiful glimmer of GOLD. Sam looks down and said THAT'S IT MATE, Thank you Michael you legend. You are most welcome Sam and Lauren it's good to see you again. Michael have you ever had a married couple where both husband and wife have lost their wedding rings? GOOD QUESTION at the top of my head ONLY one other couple I can remember maybe more BUT this is not common at all and makes for a great story, I'm happy I could help you. To be honest Lauren's wedding ring was the toughest to find lost in spiky thick bushes in a large area, I'm still pulling thorns out of my back side haha. To Sam and Lauren thanks for calling LOST JEWELLERY RECOVERY for our metal detecting services, we are also a LOST AND FOUND SERVICE. we have over 10 years of lost property in lockup. If you know anyone who has ever lost anything let them know to contact us so we can get it back to them. Cheers MichaelThe ring has found its owner

My first find in Ireland. The girl lost her wedding ring and turned to us when we were relaxing on the beach. She accurately indicated this place in the water and we spent about 20 minutes. The owner of the ring and her husband were very grateful))Found silver ring

I found this ring today at Fred Howard Park in Tarpon Springs, Florida. It has small feet and the name “Damon” and a date written on the face of the ring. It must have tremendous sentimental value to the owner. Please contact me so I can get it back to you.Engagement ring with black stone
