Now at location I can see the young girl still had tears in her eyes, I said NO more tears your Grandmothers ring is good as found (The sand is a SAFE and my metal detector is the Key to open the SAFE and return your lost ring) the owner felt much better now I turn on my XP Deus ll Metal Detector and start our GRID SEARCH. 10 minutes into the search we find a coin and trash, 30 minutes pass and we get a solid T.ID reading on our metal detector in the 50's range NOT to be too confident I said this will be your Grandmothers ring. My son Noah who is just 7 yrs old takes out his Quest X-Pointer Pro metal detector slowly scanning the sand, the pin pointer starts ringing, Noah reaches into the sand pulling out this Beautiful gold diamond engagement ring!! the owner broke down in tears as my son handed her the ring. Tears of joy streaming down her face really made my day and I explained to my son Noah this young girl is crying because she is very happy you found her ring that belonged to her Grandmother who is no longer here with us. The owner explained she was swimming in the shallow waters of Maroubra Beach and didn't realise she had lost her chain till she got home. Not knowing what to do or who to call she reached out to friends who said contact Michael Oliver from Lost Jewellery Recovery. After speaking with the owner I advised that I search for her lost gold chain tonight as water recoveries in rip tide beaches are vital to do as soon as possible. Owner was stoked and we agreed to meet at Maroubra beach straight after this call, Now on Maroubra Beach at 10:00PM its a beautiful night the owner explains the search area of where she swam, I then said its NOT a crazy big search area and surf conditions are BIG I'm confident in finding your lost chain tonight. using the XP Deus ll metal Detector, I set up the marking pole and start the grid line search, In the water for 15 minutes now no targets which is good it's a clean area to metal detect making the search more fast paced. 45 minutes later I get the ONLY T.ID signal in the mid range it's what I expect as this chain has a ring attached to it, I look over to the owner and said its the ONLY target so far and she sound bloody good to be honest!! I proceed to dig the target, it was still shallow. Watching the sand sift through my shovel in the water I see the beautiful Glimmer of GOLD!! I just finnished a few callouts on Cronulla Beach, Bronte Beach and Coogee Beach for lost car key, lost iPhone and a lost wedding ring. Charlotte received this bracelet when she was just a baby and was very emotional over the loss understandably. While speaking with Bronwyn on the phone I can hear the stress in her voice as she explained the ring is her grandmother's wedding ring and her grandmother had passed away just recently, I reassured Bronwyn her grandmothers ring is safe in the sand and that I will find your ring. 35 minutes later I'm now with Bronwyn on Bondi Beach as Bronnie explains how she had lost her gold ring. Now 10 minutes into the search I get a great T.ID reading into the mid 50's I said to Bronwyn this will MOST likely be your grandmother's lost ring. MICHAEL OLIVER from LOST JEWELLERY RECOVERY Metal Detecting Services 0434 985 992 has received the first of a total of 4 call outs today, from lost phone on Bondi beach, lost car keys on Coogee Beach and another lost ring on Shelly Beach. Owner Lydia and her husband Michael, Called me after Lydia had lost both her wedding ring and her beautiful Engagement ring with a diamond the size of Tasmania on it. Lydia booked in the Metal detecting search and I was on Balmoral Beach within the hour. I met her husband Michael on the beach, he explained that his wife Lydia had both her rings in her Bra and lost her rings when she wrapped a towel around her facing the wall to get changed into her bikini then jumped in for a swim. I told Michael your wife's rings are most likely going to be where she got changed BUT if they are not there I can search the water with my underwater metal detector. I draw up the grid and start metal detecting, just 5 minutes into the search I run into a few small problems. Ferrous iron targets are interfering with the search I know this location well and setup my metal detector to punch through the crap to find the Treasure. 10 minutes into the search my XP Deus ll metal detector rings up a T.ID reading of 73, I'm feeling confident this is the first ring as I reach down with my quest X-pointer pro pin pointer the detector goes off like a machine gun before I even touch the sand!! I yell out to Michael, come over mate you're gonna want to see this!! Just as I wiped away the sand we saw this beautiful shimmer of the biggest diamond I have ever seen in my life on Balmoral Beach, HOLY SH#T this is one beautiful engagement ring mate happy I can get this little beauty back to you, Michael replied where's the other ring? I said in my experience the second ring should be close by to the first ring lost. 1 minute later my metal detector hits another great signal just a few feet away, I pop out my pin pointer and to my surprise this target was a bit deeper, I then asked Michael the owner if he dug up the area before I got here, Michael said we had 5 people searching. This explains this target being deeper as I remove 2 inches of sand I spot the glimmer of gold!! Michael dives straight in picking up his wife's wedding ring. Thank you Michael for coming out so fast. My wife is coming back to the beach now as she wants to say thank you in person. I see Lydia walking towards us with tears of joy in her eyes. Young lady on Cronulla Beach had lost Car keys, A bloke at Maroubra Beach lost his wedding ring. I found his lost wedding ring and he never told his wife he lost it, now she can see it on my youtube channel followed by 2 more lost rings in the water at Balmoral Beach and Wollongong.  Amani just called me at 8pm last night explaining how she had lost her very unique bracelet, it had 4 x 24k gold bars attached to a bracelet total value over $5,000. Amani had very little hope of finding her NEW bracelet that was a present from her husband. I told Amani with confidence you lost your bracelet in the water of a special location at Clontarf Beach where the water starts chest deep than drops off to 25 metres plus deep, luckily you were standing in the chest deep water and you did not swim out a few feet into some serious depths of water.  Amani agrees to meet me on the low tide today at 12 noon, G,day Amani how are you? I'm not feeling great. Michael had a hard night to sleep, I understand how you feel and not to worry I will find your bracelet today. Together Amani and I looked through her photos and luckily her mother took a video of the exact point when her bracelet was struck by a ball being thrown and I could actually hear the bracelet SNAP OFF!! Holy sh#t that was perfect timing your mother took this video, your mother is the person to thank today. I now geared up with my Blu3 Nemo dive system, Waydoo Subnado propulsion system along with my XP Deus ll metal detector. 10 minutes into the search I was attached by a dog who clawed the top of my head as I surfaced finding a metal spring and bottle tops, off to a great start haha, more people were in the search area making it difficult as Amani watched on to see the dog attack asking if I was ok. 1 hour into the search I get a high T.ID reading of 80 plus on my XP Deus ll metal detector just as I blast the sand away I spot this shimmer of gold right on the edge of the drop off, I reach down fast and pull this beautiful and heavy 4 x gold bar bracelet from the ocean floor. I EXPLODE with excitement out of the water Amani I got your Bracelet!! Amani raced down to the water with tears in her eyes OMG Michael you found it!! I thought it was gone forever, Thank you Thank you so much my husband is on face time now he wants to say thank you Michael. You are most welcome mate. Lost 2 Gold Diamond Rings Found @ Bondi Beach

Lydia was given my number by locals on the beach, after speaking with Lydia on the phone I got down to Bondi Beach within the hour. Lydia explained that she had placed both her rings in her sunglass case which she did not know unfortunately had a hole in it. I then asked if Lydia had moved anywhere else on the beach besides where she is sitting, Lydia replied no I was here the whole time. Perfect this will be a straight forward search classed as a towel flick basically and good news both of your lost rings should be found close together in my experience. I start up my XP Deus ll Metal Detector and begin my search just seconds into the search I get a T.ID reading of 40 its low BUT these are small rings, just as I pin point the target moving the sand away I spot the silver glimmer, I found your ring. Pulling it from the sand fast was a PULL-TAB. Thats not your lost ring, my apologies don't worry I give you my word I will find both rings. 3 minutes into the search another T.ID reading of 45 sounds promising but could be aluminium trash, I reach down to pin point the target and BINGO the first diamond ring is found Lydia dives straight in pulling her lost ring from the sand saying thank you Michael, Do you think we can find the other? I said yes of course the second is normally easier to find as it's normally close to the first ring lost. A few seconds later my metal detector hits another great signal, just as I move the sand away we all spot the second lost ring, jumping for joy Lydia was so happy and said all the people I spoke to before I called you Michael, they all said you can find just about anything. I have been metal detecting since the age of 10 and have found a life time of lost treasures. in fact we have a lockup full of lost items. I've been called out all day for lost rings on Coogee Beach, Lost Phone on Tamarama Beach a lost Cartier love Bangle at Bronte Beach followed by 2 lost rings on Bondi Beach. That Night I get a call from Angela who lost a very special Canturi Ring with a whopping VALUE of $18,300 WOW!! More importantly this ring was given to her by her husband which holds a deeper more sentimental value❤️ Angela explained she came down to the beach went for a very short swim then sat down back at the grass where she already searched the area for over 2 hours, Angela was understandably stressed and feeling down. I reassured Angela NOT to worry your ring is somewhere and It's my pleasure to find it. Angela asked should we search tomorrow in the day light? or can you search in the water in the dark Michael? I replied, I'm most happy to search tonight. An hour after our call I'm geared up on the Beach at Neilsen Park Sydney with Angela. She explains the search area then Angela asked do you think you can find my lost ring Michael? I said YES of course, if the ring is here I will find it even in the dark does NOT make a difference to me as I search by sound all I need is the stars and moon light. This beach is tidal there are NO rips or strong water currents to make me think your ring will not be found.  10 minutes into the search I get a few bottle caps NOTHING EXCITING yet, 15 minutes later I get a beautiful reading on my XP Deus ll  Metal Detector. Come up as an 80 on the T.ID reading I knew this was a coin or the beautiful lost Canturi ring. just as the ferries and boats are passing I let the water settle down as the waves came in, a few seconds later I dig the Target and slowly watch the sand sift from my shover in the water and BINGO we all slowly see the shimmer of gold and Diamonds 💎  WOW thats one of the biggest ring I've seen this year!! Lost Ring Found after Father passed away @ Bondi Beach

MICHAEL OLIVER from LOST JEWELLERY RECOVERY Metal Detecting Services 0434 985 992 has been called out to many Beaches this week, in search for lost sun glasses, lost mobile phone, lost gold chains and lost wedding rings. Bondi Beach, Coogee Beach, Shelly Beach, Bronte Beach, Maroubra Beach, Avalon Beach and Whale Beach are just a few beaches I've detected this week. Today I get the call from a distressed owner who has just lost his wedding ring 40 metres out into the water on Bondi Beach, the ring was given to him by his father who passed away a few years ago, this ring was in fact his fathers wedding ring. I spoke with the owner reassuring him NOT to worry mate, I will find your lost ring. 40 minutes later I arrive on the beach, with over 10,000 people on Bondi beach today I thought this was going to be difficult to metal detect, until the owner said ( I did not swim between the flags, I swam in the rip) the good news is I will not be metal detecting over 100 swimmers haha!! the BAD news is rips are well known to move lost rings due to the strong current. I set up my search with the XP Deus ll metal detector extending the search area to 20 metres long, the first 2 hours I got I find a few bottle caps now 3 hours into the search my shoulders are burning from metal detecting in the strong current bends my metal detector shaft it's that strong!! BINGO I get the first quality T.ID reading on my metal detector feeling confident this is the owners lost ring, I wait for the set of waves to come through as finding the ring is the easy part digging it without losing it in the surf is the next challenge. With over 1,000 lost jewellery recoveries under my belt I feel confident in even the most challenging surf conditions I have not lost a ring yet and today will not be the first. pulling the shovel from the sand I watch the sand sift through my shovel holes and the glimmer of gold is revealed, I scream out in relief after a long 3 hours I got that little bugger!! Surf life savers come over to congratulate the find as I look in the distance the owner and his wife are running out into the water his wife was so excited jumping clear out of the water saying Thank You Michael THANK YOU!! we head back into shore together where it's safe to hand over the lost ring. The Owner was beyond words saying (Michael we knew you will find it you are so precise as we watched you metal detect hour after hour, your physical endurance in the surf is impressive to see)

Michael Oliver from LOST JEWELLERY RECOVERY Metal Detecting Services 0434 985 992 has been called out to many recoveries this week from Milk Beach for a lost phone underwater, Bronte Beach for a lost wedding ring, lost car keys at Narrabeen Beach, Diving the Parramatta river for a lost watch and today I received a call from Coogee Beach for a lost Diamond ring worth over $20,000 the owner explained she lost it while swimming in 5 feet of water on the mid tide rising, I wanted to rush out right away but experience with Coogee beach I cannot dive it as the tide is rising. I'm feeling frustrated as the tide is too high to search now in 7 feet of water, I explain not to worry I will be there first thing in the morning on the low tide. The owner gave me a rough idea of the search area, unfortunately she could not be there to help as she was out of the state on holiday. I got down to Coogee Beach with ONLY a rough idea of the search area. I used my experience and watched other swimmers on their movements in the water along with the information provided by the owner, I set up my grid search and turned on my XP Deus ll metal detector. I take the search out into deeper water on the low tide this will be further out than the owner was swimming. That's ok as I set up the grid and metal detecting back into the shallow waters. This search is going to be bigger than expected as I prefer to make search grids larger when owners are NOT sure this way it Guarantees I will find the ring. 5 minutes into the search I found 1 bottle cap, it's pretty clean in the water. Now 10 minutes into the search I find a crusty old 20 cent coin on the second grid line, after finding more coins I feel I'm bang smack in the drop zone. Now 4 grid lines in on the 40 minute mark I get a great T.ID reading on my metal detector Feeling pretty confident I dig the target and watch the sand sift through my shovel underwater and BINGO I see this beautiful glimmer of gold and diamonds looking up at me, reaching down to grab the ring before a wave hits me I jump out of the water screaming we got it!! a few swimmers watching me search came over congratulating me saying (mate I did not think you could find it, WOW that's an amazing job you did) I told the swimmers that's exactly what the owner thought I would not find her ring as she could only provide a rough estimate of the search area most people thought this was IMPOSSIBLE. I simply came out expecting to spend up to 6 hours in the water and started my metal detecting search in the deeper waters on the low tide and blew out the search area 3 times bigger, it was IMPOSSIBLE for me to NOT find the lost ring is how I see it. GO BIG OR GO HOME haha 😂 if it's there, I will find it!!
