I was just strolling the beach last year when I came across a very nice I Phone at the edge of the waves. Put it in my pouch and continued on when a young man stopped me and said his boss lost his phone. Well, me being somewhat of a jokester I told him to have the man come talk to me about finding his phone which he did. I immediately told him in a very stern voice that it is going to cost him a great deal of money to go into the water and find his phone. Then I reached into my pouch and said "does it look like this?". I then told him he didn't owe me anything, just a thank you. It turned out that he owned a business that makes and sells beautiful rash guard shirts and the next day on the beach he gave me and my wife two very beautiful rash guards shirts. See photo. Another fun and rewarding day finding peoples lost valuables.

Got the call to search for a wedding ring in three feet of water so I headed out to go get it. When I arrived she told me she meant three meters of water. I did not expect that and did not have my scuba gear with me so I donned my mask and snorkel and free dove for over an hour until Eureka, I found it. The couple had their entire wedding party on the beach and when she started screaming with joy they all plus many more people showed up to see what was going. Well, just another "normal" day for a treasure hunter/finder.

I happened to be doing a search on a beautiful beach in about four feet of water when I noticed a young man staring into the water apparently searching for something. I recognize the scene since I have seen it many times. I waded over to him and asked if he lost something and he said yes, my wedding ring "and my wife will kill me". He gave me some parameters where he thought he lost it but I know that it is almost never where they think they lost it. I made a good guess where and within minutes I found it for him. They were very happy newlyweds. Married only two days.

AWESOME news we tracked down the owner of one of the lost rings and have had it returned, now we are putting the word out to hopefully find the owner of the second gold wedding ring.

Today I've found many Apple watches while diving, if you or anyone you know has ever lost anything on land or underwater. Contact me, if I've already found it I'll have it returned to you. Theres NOT many places I have not performed lost jewellery recoveries, in trash bins up in trees down drain pipes and when I'm lucky diving underwater is my favourite place to metal detect. MOST people I meet Don't even know underwater metal detectors even exist. they exist 100% and they are capable of finding some very small jewellery, gold rings are easy to find with these underwater metal detectors we use.

While on another search at an ocean beach on Block Island, a young girl approached me and asked for my help. She explained that her dad Marty had just lost his wedding ring while boogie boarding with his kids. He rode a wave and felt the ring fall off in the water near the shore. I interrupted the other search to look for the ring. It took 30 minutes to find it in the sand near shore. Marty and his wife were thrilled. They felt so blessed that I happened to be there when they needed my help. You see, this was not just an ordinary ring. It had belonged to his wife's grandfather George who passed away in 2019. The ring was gifted to Marty because he had married the eldest granddaughter and was very close to George. Marty's ring is now with his wife for safe keeping until he gets it resized!
Lost Gold Chain with Ring Recovered on Block Island, RI 8/2/2023

Brandi contacted me to ask for my help. She was referred to me by Wayne, a friend and experienced metal detecting enthusiast. Brandi's husband Irving had lost a man's gold chain on which hung a woman's gold wedding ring. These items held much sentimental value to Irving as well as his sister Nancy as they were gifts from their dad and mom who had passed away. The chain with the ring came off while Irving was diving into the ocean on Block Island 5 days earlier. They hired someone to look for the item and even went back to Block Island to search themselves but were unsuccessful. I knew I had to get out there as soon as possible to search for the item. I headed out to Block Island the next day. After searching in the water for two and a half hours, I found the chain with ring still securely attached. I called Brandi from the beach to give her the good news...she was so excited. Brandi and Irving, as well as his sister Nancy and her partner Manny, came to my house to retrieve the item. They were very emotional when I returned the chain with the ring. What a touching moment when Irving put it back on his neck. My wife and I felt an instant connection to this beautiful family.
Lost Ring Found in Charlestown, RI 6/26/2023

Jim and Lisa rented a beach house on the private section of Charlestown Beach. While enjoying the beach, Lisa removed her platinum diamond wedding band to apply sunscreen but didn't put the ring back on her finger. A half hour later, she realized that it was missing and had gotten buried in the beach sand. Jim called to ask for my help with finding the ring. I searched the beach for about 20 minutes before locating the ring. They were so excited and appreciative.
