Part 1 of 2 SeattleRingHunter Lost Item Recovery Specialist LAND & SCUBA Call 206-618-8194 ASAP Watch the SeattleRingHunter in action recovering over $160,000 in tossed diamond rings. https://youtu.be/Pk7rD-V2b-E Like share and subscribe… January 2022 Ed reached out to me asking for assistance in searching for some tossed wedding rings during a stressful situation. This is the story of the extensive efforts taken to recover three lost rings. Hey guys, this is the Seattle Ring Hunter we’re actually out here in North Bend this morning and we’re here with Edward. Ed will you tell us a little bit about what’s going on today and why we’re out here. Yeah its just a desperate situation to try to look for three rings the wedding ring, the engagement ring and another nice piece of high-end jewelry ring. Just to be honest with you it was after an epic big fight disagreement you know with my wife and I should not have done this but my mind was not in the right place and then in a fit of rage I never done this before but I grabbed four rings. My personal wedding ring, and then her three rings, and then one by one I came out to the balcony and late at night in the dark I threw them out over my balcony in the deep backyard in the woods. It was snowing three feet of snow at the time and I just assumed I never would see him again you know. Then, obviously just an hour later, and the next day, you regret what you did. I couldn’t look for it because it was all three feet of snow, so I had to wait another week for everything to melt. The first day it melted where I could have visibly I went out there about five or six or seven hours and I was able to find mine. I’m still missing three. I was out there seven hours I just had a chintzy metal detector and I not an expert. I was kind of encouraged when I found mine but really discouraged I couldn’t find the others that are more important. There is no way to remedy the situation with my wife and move on unless I find those. Especially the one is more important than the other two being the engagement ring as far as sentimental value. Until then I’m really really really in the doghouse. So I couldn’t find it real discouraged the next day I have off from work I was gonna come out her again and just keep doing it. We were able to find you on the internet yourself on the The Ring Finders and have so many amazing reviews in different scenarios in situation that we called you. Now you’re here to help us out. I am very thankful you guys were able to find our support today. Guys as I said before these are stressful situations and we get maybe one to three calls throughout the month for people in this situation. If you find yourself in a situation, I just want to say don’t feel like we’re gonna give you a hard time or call you out on it or anything this happens we’re used to this. Everyone is human and so we we think Ed for sharing his story to maybe help encourage others out there that might find themselves in situation. You don’t necessarily have to come on camera but just to let you know we do have opportunities and capabilities to help people in the situation. With that being said the three rings, we are going to focus on that just for a second. They are pretty substantial rings, they mean a lot to the family for the sentimental value and the whole end result of this is getting them back for the family that’s an an absolutely our priority and our focus on this. They are very nice pieces of jewelry so with that being said they’re not dainty in size we got a platinum and we got some white gold rings out there. They got the diamonds and all that you guys will hopefully be able to see that later on as we make the recovery out here. He did find his wedding band and we’re gonna do a test throw here in just a moment so we can get a trajectory on how he’s throwing. He mentioned earlier that he’s got a little bit of a issue with his arm so he shared a little bit about that so maybe they are not way back in the back fourth but it’ll be over here. This is on a private property so we know that they’re absolutely here on the property so with that very confident that we should be able to get them recovered. With that, let me go ahead and get geared up and see if we can bring all three of those rings back and turn the situation around to a better resolve. SEATTLE RING HUNTER SAVES 2.4 CT DIAMOND WEDDING RING FROM AN IMMINENT DISASTER!

SeattleRingHunter Lost Item Recovery Specialist LAND & SCUBA Call 206-618-8194 ASAP Watch the SeattleRingHunter save a 2.4 Ct diamond wedding ring from imminent an imminent disaster! https://youtu.be/pjRNWM_9jM0 Like share and subscribe… March 2023 As I was traveling home from a previous search I received a call from Trina at 8:45 PM on a Friday evening. She explained she has just lost a 2.4 Ct diamond wedding ring the day before. Last known location of ring was in her home bathroom washing it off so would sparkle more. She said I remember putting in on my finger as she was heading out of her home for event at the Seattle Rainier Club smack dab in the middle of Seattle down town. Her husband drove her to the venue and let her out at curb side on 4th Ave. She entered the venue at 3:00 PM, late afternoon with plenty of daylight still shining. Few hours into the event she goes to the ladies restroom and takes a photo of her hair doo as she was a bit dissatisfied with her recent cut. Later after getting home realizing her wedding ring of over ten years is no longer on her finger. She reference the photo of her hair style and there is clearly no ring on her finger. With out prompting she says I think I may have taken my ring off in the truck on the way to the venue to put lotion on my hands. I most likely set my ring on my leg. She had been wearing denim pants at the time. Often times ladies with dresses or skirts will place their wedding rings on the clothing between their legs as it makes a nice nesting spot but it all to often turns to devastation after realizing they got side tracked and forgot to collect them before getting up and leaving the vehicle. Trina tells me she believes this may have been the action for the loss as she has done this in the past! At that time she heard her ring hit the concrete and was able to pick it up off the ground. I said it’s 50% either way in your truck or it went outside and landed on the ground. The probability after twenty-four hours in down town Seattle on the concrete is a scary thing to think about but keep the hope alive and may God’s hand of protection be upon your ring. As we wrapped up our conversation I asked a few clarifying questions. Did you look in your truck and she said yes but she was open to me searching the truck in the morning. Towards the end of the call she had already told me she had put out a high alert at the Seattle Rainier Club and they were checking for her the best they could. I asked her if she had checked the road side yet and she told me they had not. At this point I knew I had to turn back to downtown Seattle for a quick site inspection. I reassured her with all that we know we just don’t know unless we check and time is critical. I agreed to investigate the site and having already reviewed Google street images it didn’t look promising as it was 95% concrete and asphalt everywhere! I told heI would update her on my findings and if the ring was not found I would counsel her on how to post a proper Craig’s List lost item report and we could meet in the morning to search her truck. IPHONE 13 LAKE DROP 50 FEET 10 DAYS NO DAMAGE LAKE SAMMAMISH

SeattleRingHunter Lost Item Recovery Specialist LAND & SCUBA Call 206-618-8194 ASAP Watch the SeattleRingHunter recover an iPhone 13 from fifty feet after ten days from Lake Sammamish. https://youtu.be/uuBHslJWY7c Like share and subscribe… May 2022 I receive a call from Max after having found my Lake Sammamish YouTube recovery videos. He told me he was on a paddle board with his younger sister and they had just lost his iPhone 13 in the lake! “Can you help me? , he asked me. I responded with a few questions of my own. I asked if he had any land marks next to him in the water where the phone was lost such as dock, tree or a piling. I also ask how far out from shore he was? He told me he could see the homes but nothing in the water around him as a landmark. These were not good answers and it seems some what hopeless to me from the initial responses but I have learned to continue pressing for critical details anyway. I told him Lake Sammamish gets deep quick and the phone might be flooded. He informed me that it was in a waterproof bag. It broke loose from his sister’s neck and sunk to the bottom of the lake. I had a bit of hope that maybe the phone would be dry but how to know the drop zone was still a mystery. He also said he had a photo of where they were when the phone was lost. He txted the photo to me but it was not specific enough to support a dive. I asked how the photo was taken? His response to me by surprise that he had the whole incident on his GoPro video. Turned out he had thirteen minutes of total footage and the iPhone drop was clearly at the seven minute mark. I thought for a bit longer and asked what version GoPro was used? He responded, “GoPro Version 8.” My confidence level started to warm up quickly as I asked the $1,000 question of the day. Did you have the GPS enabled, turned on? He checked and said yes the GPS was ON! At this moment my confidence level was about to boil. If this turned out to be true I would be willing to dive for the phone. I had him upload the footage to my Google share drive so I could inspect the data with my own eyes. I could hardly contain myself what if we actually have a full video account of the incident with embedded GPS data. I was anxious as the video file was downloaded to my computer. When I played the video for the first time I was pleased to see the high definition footage of the complete incident. The instant the phone broke free from her neck as he pulled her onto the paddle board we can actually hear the lanyard clip break and at this instant my confidence level was spiking. I found an appropriate software application and applied some gauges to the video displaying all the critical data. After watching the video a second time with live GPS data on the screen my confidence level for this recovery reached a full rolling boil! At this moment I knew we had all we needed to dive on this mission with a very solid opportunity of a recovery not based on luck and chance but founded on solid technical skills and process. We could have not ask for anything better. Even the fact that the GoPro had been running for several minutes was an absolute blessing allowing the GPS to have a solid lock on several satellites for optimum accuracy. Here is the video… Watch this episode of the Seattle Ring Hunter to see how we unwind this riddle of yet another iPhone lake drop. Be sure to like, share and subscribe to my videos. FRED’S LOST ROLEX MERCER ISLAND SCUBA RECOVERY

A Mercer Island resident called me this weekend explaining her neighbor had lost his watch after a day of boating at their private dock. He was grabbing for the dock and a nail staged his watch band and down it went to the bottom of Lake WA. Even though it was a nice warm day for a cool swim Fred made several attempts to free dive for his watch but the depth was just beyond his reach along with the silt and mil foil growth adding to the challenge. Fred knew at this point they had to find someone equipped for the recovery. Fortunately his neighbor recalled a past recovery on the lake performed by another RingFinder member. She eventually got me on the phone and the mission was activated. After learning that this was no ordinary watch but a ROLEX I was very happy to oblige, of course I was excited as this would be my fist ROLEX recovery! HEIRLOOM ENGAGEMENT RING LOST IN CAR WHILE USING HAND SANITIZER NEWCASTLE WA

SeattleRingHunter Lost Item Recovery Specialist LAND & SCUBA Call ASAP 206-618-8194 Watch the SeattleRingHunter recover a lost heirloom platinum diamond engagement ring from a car. Like share and subscribe… https://youtu.be/frNSLDVhHOs November 2021 Martina called asking for help. She explained that she was in her friends car sitting in the front passenger seat. She had just put hand sanitizer on and her engagement ring slipped out of her grasp. After stopping the car in her driveway the girls were very cautious searching absolutely every place they could however they were unable to locate her engagement ring. This engagement ring came from her fiancés mother and Thanksgiving was just days away. Martina could not bear the thought of hang to tell her future mother-in-law the sad news. Desperate and frantic to find a solution after searching the car several times with no success lead her to a Google search that landed her at TheRingFinders.com She put her local zip code in and found my listing. After reading my profile page she was convinced enough to give me a call seeking some professional help. I reassured her that I have experience and special tools for this exact type of search and that I would do all I could to find the ring if its still there to be found. I also reassured her I’d be able to search her front yard if the ring didn’t show up in the car. We met at her friends home where I was greeted with a very clean car. Never assuming anything I had to ask her if the car was this clean during the time of the loss or if it had been picked up at all. She assured me the car was in the same condition since the loss. As experienced finders we have learned to ask a lot of investigative questions to draw as many details as possible. If there had been other bags or garbage in the car this could leading to other potential hiding spots as to where a lost ring could get transported out of its initial location. I as happy to hear on the search that car was as clean as the day of the loss. This drove some confidence that the ring might sill be in the vehicle. Keeping a positive frame of mind always helps with any search. After searching under the passenger seat with my video endoscope and bright LED flashlight there was one hot spot that had to be checked. The HVAC vent under the seat. These are typically like a plastic duct system designed to direct heating and cooling towards the back seat passengers. Rings bing heavy in nature will often make their way to the lowest parts and sometimes fall inside these duct tubes. From there is unfortunately a slippery duct system with smooth metal rings against a plastic duct system. The longer they are in a vehicle the deeper they may go as every brake action can cause the ring to move further and further out of reach. This is why time is your enemy if you have lost a ring especially in your vehicle! Fortunately we have some pretty creative tools and experience in recovery of rings lost in vehicles. It’s not at all recommended to take your car to a mechanic for a lost ring. We have examples of people having seats pulled from a vehicles, large labor charges and still no rings recovered. Remember a mechanics aren’t focused on lost ring recovery and are typically working as fast as possible to get each job accomplished. An auto mechanic shop is not the best option for a lost item recovery search. Being a mechanic myself and having all the tools to remove seats from vehicles I have found easier and better ways of inspection and item recovery reducing seat removal. What the video to see my process in action returning now only a cherished engagement ring but a big smile to Martina’s face. She was very relieved and now ready to visit her family for the Thanksgiving holiday. Be sure to like, share and subscribe to my videos. EPIC IN HOME SEARCH FOR DIAMOND WEDDING RING SILVERDALE, WA

SeattleRingHunter Lost Item Recovery Specialist LAND & SCUBA Call 206-618-8194 ASAP Watch the SeattleRingHunter in this epic in home search for a lost diamond wedding ring. https://youtu.be/XRt9FTkNd6Y Like share and subscribe… May 2022 Ilandra called me seeking help for a lost diamond wedding ring in her home. She clearly tells me the situation of where she last had her ring. Just a few days prior she was cooking dinner over her stove when some food got on to her ring. She remembers washing her ring off in her kitchen sink then drying it with a kitchen towel that was hanging from her oven door. She recalls clutching her ring in her hand as she went up the stairs to her bedroom to prepare for an evening shower. Just a few minutes after having left the kitchen she had gathered a pajama top from her bedroom closet, placed some close on her bathroom counter and realized her precious diamond wedding ring was no where to be found! She has a common habit of leaving her wedding ring on the bathroom counter while bathing and expected the ring to be there but it was not. She asked her husband who had been with her all evening and he clearly remembered having last seen her washing it off in the kitchen. What seem to have taken place in an instant turned into a huge all night search with the couple turning their house upside down looking for her ring yet no ring was to be found. After hearing this story I asked several clarifying questions as my basic line of investigation. The odd thing was this was a basic routine end of day evening for them. There was no drinking, no stress, no drama, no third parties had been in the home, no cats or dogs. I learned she has a young son but he had been sleeping the whole time this incident took place. She explained she was at a total loss of where or what could have happened to her ring and after having found me online she was desperate and needed some help. With all these details I reassured her if the ring was still on the property I would do all I could to assist her with an in home search. I explained with all of my special tools, processes and experience we needed to act quickly and to treat this in home search as a priority. She agreed with me as we set a schedule to meet just a few days later. I also took that opportunity to stress the point from my past experience they needed to save all the house hold garbage and to set it aside in a safe quarantine zone. She confirmed that they still had all of the trash and had done some looking through it already but agreed and fully understood the importance in securing all the house hold garbage. As I tell many people in this situation we just don’t know if its in the trash, the laundry, under an appliance, hiding in a cabinet or container. At the very least allow me to search your house hold garbage before releasing it to the curb regardless of how much you may have poked through it yourself. When it comes to in home searches each case is unique and of its own but there is common areas we tend to focus on a first priority to search based on our years of experience. With human nature certain actions and activities causing lost jewelry tend to stand out to us as Lost Item Recovery Specialist so please allow us an opportunity to do all we can to assist you in your lost item situation. Diamond Engagement Ring found in grass at Irvine, California Park

I recieved a call from Daisy telling me she had lost a diamond wedding ring. She had lost it the week before while playing with friends on a grass slope. They had spent several days searching for the ring with no suceess. I was able to meet her and her husband about an hour and 30 minutes later and it was already dark. I felt it was important to have them show me the location and explain what she was doing when she lost it. After meeting them and seeing the area (100 x 75 ft.) I thought I would try a couple hours. Daisy and Wonjoon offered to hold the flashlight and my coffee. It was a very trashy site with lots of pulltabs, bottle caps and other metallic items which made it a difficult seach. After about 2 hours we eyeballed the ring just before my dectector coil passed over it. “They were so happy and so was I” It is so rewarding to be able to help locate misplaced (not lost) valuables.

Lost Wedding Ring in Surf at California Beach .. Found and Returned

I received a call from Kathleen in Del Mar, CA. after she found my number on my website. She and her husband Jeff had been to the beach a couple days before at 6:30pm, which was about high tide. Jeff was boogie boarding in the surf when he took a big wave and when he recovered from a wipeout he was missing his wedding band. While talking with with Kathleen, I explained that it is a difficult search, because the detector can only detect ring size metal to a depth of 6″ to 8″ inches. Depending on surf conditions the sand can move more than a foot of sand in one tide. Kathleen gave me good directions, which made it easier to start hunting. I drove to the location, arriving about 12 am. two hours before low tide. Setting up a grid search of 75 yards parallel to the beach. After five passes towards the receding tide I got my first and only signal.. There it was and I knew right away it was Jeff’s ring. It was just about 5″ or 6″ inches deep. I had been slowly swinging the detector for about 30 minutes overlaping each swing as not to miss a ringsize area. Missing a 3 inch area could make a 30 minute search turn into hours of hunting. I always tell people that I’m searching for, ” Just don’t watch me work, because it will drive a normal person crazy” It’s a slow and methodical process. I text Kathleen a photo of the ring and asked her to call. She immediately called back with an excited voice. We set up a meeting and Jeff was outside his home waiting at 1 am when I drove up. I handed him his ring and he told me how he lost it. He is vacationing from Louisiana and is not familiar with westcoast surf. Jeff said the wave picked him up smashing him under the water. When he came up he had sand in every orfice. Then he noticed the missing ring. He just knew it was gone forever and probably half way to Hawaii by now. He explained to me, how he had told all his friends about his surfing experience and the loss of his ring. I only wish I could tell Jeff’s story the way he told it. Now he can tell them a better story. ” The Recovery of his ring” It was a pleasure to meet Jeff and talk to his wife on the phone and I am realizing that there are so many nice people in this world.. I love helping people with a skill that has taken me many years of experience and research to learn.. ( And Lots of Luck )

Unique Heirloom ring FOUND

Cameron was holidaying at Werri Beach, Gerringong with a group of friends. He was wearing a unique gold ring, a family heirloom, which had been given to him by his Grandmother. Whilst throwing a football he felt the ring slip from his finger into the soft dry sand. He and his friends searched for the ring but were unable to find it. He contacted me and I made the drive to meet him and recover it. Needless to say he and his friends were delighted and I hope they enjoyed the remainder of the Kings Birthday long weekend.
