Diamond stud found on football pitch

I was contacted by Ceara to find a very sentimental piece of jewellery, it was a job of finding a needle in a haystack. On Monday night she lost a small diamond stud earring on a grass pitch in Auckland New Zealand while out running, she got it caught on her headband taking it off, she managed to find the back close to where she had been standing but could not find the front. The earrings were a gift from her grandmother as a teenager and her husband had them repaired for her before their wedding so they are very special. I thought about not doing it because of the size of the item and the location making it unlikely it would be found. I went anyway and met them at the park, when I touched the pinpointer to the other earring it didn’t register at all and my metal detector didn’t respond either except for it’s gold mode. So I found about 10-15 false targets, that we carefully picked though, me using my headlamp and them using their phone lights. Within around 30 minutes of searching we had located it! Amazing really, I have found others in grass but not grass as tightly clumped.
7 metre dive for owners lost Boat part

Lost Jewellery Recovery just received an emergency call out for a lost boat part that fell from the boat when docked. The owner needed a metal detecting service with an underwater metal detector capable of recovery lost treasures at 7 metres of depth, I explained to the owner we have the XP Deus ll metal detector waterproof down to 20 metres with the Quest X-Pointer Pro waterproof down to 40+metres. The owner booked us in for the search and we were on location with in the hour, the owner explained many people lose all sorts of treasures off these boat docks when they are getting on and off their boats is when people usually lose items like wedding rings, watches, phones, bags, wallets, sun glasses even their car keys all go over board here. I let the owner know we are basically a lost and found service and we can recover all these lost treasures for the owners. I'm now gearing up diving with my BLU3 Nomad dive system allowing me to dive to a depth of 10 metres teamed up with the XP Deus ll metal Detector. We first set up a down line with a dive weight attached, this is an important tool to have as water currents dropping down to 7 metres could push me way out of the search area with out me knowing. The down line is now set, I jump in and make my way down the line, the water vis is about 3 metres on the surface and as I dive deeper the vis became much less. Im now on the ocean floor and before I swing my detector, I do a quick 360 degree scan holding onto to the line. Nothing was in site, I now extend the search 6 foot from the down line metal detecting the ocean floor and within 5 minutes I came across a long stainless steel pole that was speared into the ocean floor, BINGO thats the part we are looking for👍👍 I then do a 180 degree turn and locate my down line and begin to follow the line to the surface, with out the line I could end up under another boat dock or tangled in lines. Most important is never surface faster then my exhaled bubbles this could lead to a shallow water black out that is fatal for divers. The owner was very happy to see this part of his boat back as they had plans to take their boat out in a few hours and without this part they could not go out. The owner shook my hand and said thank you, I'm very much grateful for your service and how fast you were able to come out on a weekend. Bondi Beach Returned Carly's Grandmothers Wedding Ring

Last night Lost Jewellery Recovery received a call-out from Carly who lost her Grandmothers Wedding Ring on Bondi Beach. Carly was very sad as her Grandmother passed away and this ring was the last physical possession she has of her Grandmother. Carly jumped on google and found Lost Jewellery Recovery Worldwide, Metal Detecting Service. After speaking with Carly on the phone I reassured her if the ring is there I will find it. I got down to Bondi Beach within the hour with my XP Deus ll Metal Detector and Quest X-Pointer ll Pin Pointer, Carly explained she had a few drinks with her friends celebrating in the shallow waters of Bondi Beach. I then explained to Carly the how I will perform this Lost Jewellery Recovery starting from metal detecting the water making my way back onto the beach as we are on roughly the same tide Carly lost her ring this will make our search much more accurate without have to guess where the tide was which would then make our search area much bigger than needed. After just 20 minutes I came across a ring, a small silver ring that turned out to be Carly's ring she didn't care too much about this ring and didn't mention it to me as it's her Grandmothers ring she wants back. After Carly showed me a pic of her wearing this small silver ring I just found, I said this is great news as rings that come off together are normally within a few feet of each other. The marking pole was moved to where I found her first lost treasure, 2 minutes later I get a low T.ID reading on my metal detector. As I dig on the second scoop BINGO we are on Carly's Grandmothers beautiful diamond wedding ring. Carly was in tears so very grateful to be reunited with the memories of her Grandmother❤️ Carly said I had no idea metal detecting in the water is even something possible and said (i'll recommend you to everyone, thank you not just for finding my ring but being so very understanding and reassuring me that the ring is there and you will find it. Lost Jewellery Recovery just received a Metal Detecting call-out from Sue, the owners mother in law. Her son could not attend the search today as it's his birthday and this is the second wedding ring he has lost. The family is devastated this has happened again as the owner only had this ring for ONLY 3 days. I spoke with Sue, luckily she was at the beach when the ring was lost. Sue retraced her steps to the best of her ability, I reassured Sue she does not have to be precise as I'm going to make the search grid area twice the size just to be sure, It is a busy day on the Beach and a few people laying on the sand were very understanding and quick to move off the search area THANK YOU 😎. After 20 minutes of searching we find a few bottle top and coins then we get a solid T.ID reading on my XP Deus ll Metal Detector. I reach for my Quest X-Pointer ll to pinpoint the target and BINGO we are on the gold. Sue was shocked in disbelief and said you have saved their marriage, losing a wedding ring for the second time put a lot of stress on their marriage, I said we are only human these things happen to people every day. It's no ones fault, the most important thing is not the ring, its supporting each other through the good times and stressing times, marriage is a roller coaster of emotions I've been married for over 10 years now and like everyone we go through the stress TOGETHER❤️👍 Sue asked what kind of lost treasures do I get called out to help find lost rings or is there others treasures to? Wedding Ring Lost days BEFORE the Wedding!!

Today Lost Jewellery Recovery received a call from Jessica for our metal detecting service, who's Husband to be has just lost his wedding ring in the garden. The wedding day is just Days away. They tried metal detecting for their ring with no luck, this is a very stressful situation on this young couple. I spoke with Jessica letting her know I can be on location within the hour the ring is there and I will find it for you Jessica. The owner felt very positive and relieved after we spoke on the phone. Im now on location armed with the XP-Deus ll metal detector and the X-Pointer Pro ll Pin Pointer. Jessica explained the search area and her partner was not wearing his ring as it didn't fit him and he left it in his pants pocket and was lost when he was playing football with the kids in the garden. I took out my grid lines to search the grass area and Just minutes into the search I get a Beautiful T.I.D reading of 85 on my XP Deus ll, I've Found hundreds and hundreds of lost rings for owners over the years and this was a solid reading at shallow depth between the grass blades I take out my X-Pointer Pro ll to pin point the target and BINGO we are on the GOLD!! I call Jessica outside leaving the ring where I found it giving Jessica the opportunity to see where exactly her ring is and Just how hidden it was. Jessica looks into the grass, first said i can't see anything then OMG there it is, Michael Oliver thank you so much for finding our ring. Today Lost Jewellery Recovery received a call out from a distressed owner who unfortunately lost his Mobile phone, this is a very stressful situation as our phones have everything on them and all his important work contacts are on his phone along with family❤️ photos. The owner explained how important it is to him, I told him with confidence. If its there will find it👍 I'll be using our new XP Deus ll metal detector with the new large 13'' search coil with the Bone conduction head phones. Backed up with the Quest X-Pointer Pro pin pointer, I use pin pointers a lot especially in murky low vis waters. The Parramatta river is polluted and I don't recommend swimming here. Now i'm geared up with my BLU3 Nemo dive system and hit the water, as I dive below the surface I'm surrounded by trash and shopping trolleys this is going to be a challenging search but definately possible👍👍 After Just 15 minutes of metal detecting underwater, I get a Good T.I.D reading on while conducting my metal detecting search and BINGO we are on the phone🤗 I'm really happy to find the owners phone so fast and even more happy to get out of this Polluted trashy river!! (I'll come back here with our fishing magnet and claw to rip all that trash and trolleys out of the river) Just as I surface I hold up the owners lost phone, he was over the moon I could even find it in murky low vis waters. He was very grateful to have his phone back, he jumped for joy🤗 he asked me what else I find and and where else do I metal detect, I replied I metal detect up in trees on the side of highways in garbage bins full of soiled poopy nappies down drain pipes.
