Engagement Ring Lost After Wedding Celebration Found and Returned
2 months ago
Jasmine & Bella were attending a wedding for some work friends and afterwards decided to jump off of a boat dock into the saltwater inlet. Jasmine's engagement ring that belonged to Bella's grandmother, slipped off as she was pulling herself up on the dock. I arrived then next day to hunt the lower tide and after checking various areas, it was determined the ring fell in the water on the opposite side of the boat dock. Once I made my way through the soft stinking muddy bottom the other side, my XP Deus II sounded off very loudly. Seconds later, I pulled Jasmine's ring from the water.
Custom – made Ring Paradise Point
I received a distressed call from Tim whose partner had lost her custom-made ring at the Paradise Point, Gold Coast. She had taken the kids to the beach and by the time she got home she noticed her gold ring with a peach sapphire was missing. It was very sentimental so she searched her house and car to no avail. Then back to the beach to retrace her activities, but still no ring to be found. She contacted Tim, who then googled metal detecting recoveries on the Gold Coast and found lost Jewellery Recovery. I got the call and then headed to meet at the beach. After searching the sand areas where she had been sitting, I then worked the grass area methodically where she had applied sunscreen to her children. There were lots of junk metal targets which made this very difficult. I carefully eliminated all the signals till I got one that sounded promising. Hidden in the grass there was her beautiful ring and there was lots of joy and astonishment. Another great recovery of a lost ring to its grateful owner
Sentimental Ring Surfers Paradise
Sabi managed to find Lost Jewellery Recovery and called me about a very special ring she had lost on Surfers Paradise Beach, Gold Coast. She explained that she had been playing volleyball on the wet sand with her friends and had seen her ring fly off her hand into the dry sand. After frantic searching with tears, her lost ring had vanished. She explained how sentimental it was for her as it had been given to her by her late father. The only issue was she had lost it on Wednesday, and I received her call Sunday Night. Surfers Paradise is one of the most metal-detected beaches in Australia, and I was very concerned that someone had already found it. However, I wanted to give it my best shot as I could tell how much the ring meant to her. We met at first light, and she indicated the rough area where she thinks she was. I marked out the area and started to slowly grid it out. Miraculously, my first signal was her beautiful silver and opal ring. She couldn’t stop crying with joy and gratitude. When I took her photo and asked her to smile, she did so, but was still sobbing. She sent me another photo later when she was more composed with a big smile. I really love what I do.
Grandmothers ring Bribie Island
Ruth was doing some gardening, removing dead leaves in her bamboo garden on Bribie Island. She sat down to have a break and took off her gloves; unfortunately, she pulled two of her rings off at the same time. She found her wedding band near the back door, but her grandmother's 18k sapphire ring was nowhere to be seen. After days of searching, she asked around if anyone had a metal detector, and someone gave her a copy of the Guardian newspaper's article on Lost Jewellery Recovery. She promptly phoned me, and I made the 2 ½ trip to help out as the ring meant so much to her. With lots of options for searching available, I worked out a plan that gave us the best chance with all the obstacles in our way. To our delight, the ring was rescued about 3cm down in the leaves. Lots of hugs and excitement, and it was back on Ruth's finger. It was definitely worth the trip to put some joy back into a sad situation.
Wedding band of 53 years Mermaid Waters
Paul had lost his wedding ring after 53 years when doing some gardening on his wife’s birthday. After frantic searching it was no where to be seen and it was assumed that it had been thrown out with all the branches. It was not until 5 months later a friend suggested getting someone with a metal detector to check his yard for him in case it was still there. Paul found Lost Jewellery Recovery online and I got the call to come and see if it was there. It was more of a peace of mind issue for him and he was sure it was gone forever. I set to work carefully working over every inch of his yard when all of a sudden, I got a very good signal. To everyone’s surprise buried deep in the grass was his precious lost wedding band. He began jumping around saying he could not believe it and could not stop kissing his ring. The look on his face and the joy he was experiencing was such a privilege to be a part of.
Custom-made wedding ring Palm Beach

Jarrod realised he had lost his special custom-made wedding ring in the sand at Palm Beach, Gold Coast, where he had put his towel down before a swim. It had a special hinged feature so he could take it off easily when he needed to. Unfortunately, it had come off his towel when he dried himself. After searching for ages, he finally located Lost Jewellery Recovery, and I met him on the beach. We worked out the potential lost zone area, and I carefully went over it with my metal detector. He could not believe it when his ring popped up from the sand. Another very happy customer

Michael Oliver from Lost Jewellery Recovery Metal Detecting Services 0434 985 992 Has been called out to help find many lost items this week from a lost engagement ring in the surf at Freshwater Beach A lost fine gold necklace on Palm Beach, 2 lost wedding rings on Coogee Beach a set of car keys on North Cronulla Beach and a beautiful gold bangle on Wollongong Beach. After receiving the call from the owner who was under a lot of stress over losing his phone in the waters of the Parramatta River while fishing, I reassured the owner its all good if you know where you dropped your phone I know I will find it. I geared up with my dive system and XP Deus ll underwater metal detector. I met with the owner at location he showed me where the phone entered the water, I jumped straight in and got started. The water visibility was not great thats ok i hunt by sound NOT always by eye sight, I set up my underwater gridline to keep me in the correct search area, there was a lot of trash rusty metal items I had to clean up this trash to get to the phone, 6 minutes later I get a great T.ID reading on my underwater metal detector BINGO its a phone however I was Not sure its the owners phone as many phones are lost off fishing docks, I return to the surface and reveal the phone I found to the owner. He jumps in relief as all his work contacts and family photos are on his phone that are not backed up. THANK YOU Michael you don't know how important this phone is to me it's has my whole life on it, THANK YOU MATE!! your most welcome do not turn on your phone just yet give it 2 days to dry out. Good news a few days later the owner called me and said i'm calling from the phone you found underwater mate your a legend i'm so grateful you found my phone and it still works!!
Supernatural recovery

Today a rather interesting incident happened: a woman lost her ring near her house before Halloween. She contacted a clairvoyant asking where it could be and whether it was even worth looking for it since so much time had passed. The clairvoyant replied: yes, the ring is in your yard, under the leaves, on a hard surface but not on the grass, and next to a wet spot! But you have to use metaldetectortor to find it The woman reached out to me on Facebook, and we arranged a meeting. After 10 minutes of searching, we managed to find the ring right in front of the house on a hard surface (very very little grass, moss, and stones underneath), next to the lawn watering faucet. The ring was lying under a small leaf from a trees 😳 Now the rings are reunited again, just as they were on their wedding day! Owner feedback: I am truly grateful to the person who found and returned my lost wedding ring. Your honesty and kindness mean the world to me. Thank you for restoring my faith in the goodness of people.
Found & Reunited Owner With Her Lost Ring

Michael Oliver from Lost Jewellery Recovery Metal Detecting Services 0434 985 992 has received a few call outs from a young married couple who lost their wedding ring on Bondi Beach, this was a towel flick I found it within a few minutes. A few days later I had a dive in 5 metres of water at Clovelly Beach, the owner lost a signet ring this was a close call as I searched outside the original search area the owner thought their ring was in and an hour later I found the ring in amongst the kelp weed. this I have to say was a difficult search and i'm happy I could get the ring back to the owner before they left for over seas that coming week. This call out was time stressing from a young lady who just lost her gold ring that was a gift from her family, the owner called me and explained how much her ring means to her and felt gutted for losing it. I explained to the owner DO NOT WORRY!! if your ring is here I will find it, this reassurance gave the owner some relief. I explained how I am going to find your ring and why I know I will find it. It's a late night metal Detecting search this does not matter as I hunt by sound and the moonlight gives me the best light I love it. 20 minutes into the search I find a few coins that have a similar T.ID reading to gold rings along with a few bottle tops to be expected. Now 30 minutes into the search my metal detector reads a surface target the T.ID is good and I knew I had found her ring. I use my pin pointer to locate the target and BINGO just as I scrape away the sand the owners ring is revealed to us. She jumps higher than a gold medalist at the Olympics for joy, Thank you Michael!! I am so grateful to have my ring back and I'll take your advice and have it resized, your most welcome and thank you for reaching out and contacting me your ring has been with you for so long now it would be very sad to of lost it forever.Lost Ring Found Ring Metal Detector Lost Ring Bondi Beach Lost Jewellery Recovery Lost Ring Cronulla Beach Lost Ring Coogee Beach Metal Detecting Service Lost and Found Ring Lost Ring Clovelly Beach
Ring recovery Main Beach
I received a text from Liam asking if I could help him locate his lost wedding ring at Main Beach. I called him straight away and arranged to meet the next morning before the low tide. He showed me the area where he and his daughter had played, including both wet and dry sand. As it was quite a large area, I started methodically gridding the wet area into the water to take advantage of the low tide first. I then worked my way up into the dry sand up to where he had sat with his family. Still no sign of the ring, so I did a few more lines above where they had sat. He was getting a bit anxious and was walking around the wet sand looking frantically. I heard a good signal so I called him over, and to his delight, I pulled out his beautiful, heavy, gold and diamond custom-made ring. Lost Jewellery Recovery lived up to its name once again.
Family Heirloom ring Rainbow Bay
A British tourist’s teenage daughter was playing in the surf at Rainbow Bay, Gold Coast, when she noticed her ring had come off her finger. There was much panic as it was a diamond and gold family heirloom passed down three generations. They located Lost Jewellery Recovery, and I went straight down to the beach. Unfortunately, it was an incoming tide, and after about an hour of thorough searching, I had not located it before the waves made it impossible to search. I came back early the next day on the low tide and continued the search. After 2 hours of careful searching, I was nearly ready to give up when I got a good signal. There I was before it was swallowed by the sea forever. It was such a joy to get it back to the family so they could continue to enjoy their holiday without the grief of their lost ring.
